Every animal arriving at Kindness Ranch carries a story. Many of the dogs and cats who come through our gates have spent much or all of their lives in research settings, often with little opportunity to experience open space, gentle handling, play, or the simple comfort of feeling safe. When they arrive at the sanctuary, they begin an entirely new chapter. A chapter built on patience, compassion, healing, and second chances.
As more facilities seek humane placement options for animals leaving research environments, Kindness Ranch is preparing to welcome increasing numbers of animals in need of immediate medical care and rehabilitation.
To help meet this growing need, Kindness Ranch is raising funds to strengthen our Mobile Veterinary Clinic. For many former research animals, traveling offsite for veterinary care can be stressful and overwhelming. The Mobile Vet Clinic allows care to come directly to the animals, reducing fear, minimizing transportation stress, and providing treatment in a calmer, safer environment where animals can remain close to the people and spaces they are learning to trust.
Funds raised through Wyoming Gives will support critical needs for the Mobile Vet Clinic, including medical supplies, onsite spay and neuter procedures for dogs and cats, equipment needs such as an X-ray machine, and ongoing maintenance to keep the clinic operational. These resources will help Kindness Ranch provide exams, diagnostics, wound care, vaccinations, rehabilitation support, and emergency stabilization for animals beginning their recovery journeys.
More than just a vehicle, the Mobile Vet Clinic represents a softer landing for animals who have already endured so much. It allows Kindness Ranch to provide compassionate, trauma-informed care while increasing our ability to prepare animals for adoption and respond quickly to urgent medical needs.

Our Mission
Kindness Ranch Animal Sanctuary provides a safe haven for animals who have been used in laboratory research, giving them the opportunity to heal, thrive, and experience compassion, often for the first time in their lives.
Located in the wide-open rolling hills of Hartville, Wyoming, our 1,000-acre sanctuary offers individualized care, enrichment, and rehabilitation for dogs, cats, horses, pigs, sheep, and other animals. Through thoughtful adoptions and round-the-clock care in spacious yurts, we help them transition from laboratory settings into loving homes.
