Adopt a Former Research Animal
Thank you for considering adopting from Kindness Ranch Animal Sanctuary! We are dedicated to helping former research animals find their forever homes.
📖 Preparing for Your Former Research Animal
Former research beagles have unique histories and need a thoughtful introduction to home life. Please familiarize yourself with our guide before applying:
🐾 Adoption Fees & Details
All Kindness Ranch animals come fully vaccinated and spayed or neutered prior to adoption.
*Please note: Our farm animals are permanent sanctuary residents and are not available for adoption.
⚠️ Adopter Requirements
To be considered for adoption, applicants must satisfy the following criteria:
- Fenced Yard Required: Essential for dog adoptions. Former research animals are often easily startled and cannot safely walk on a leash during their first few months.
- Current Pets: Must be up-to-date on all vaccinations and flea/tick/heartworm preventatives, and spayed/neutered (unless exempt for verified medical/age reasons).
- Housing Approval: If you rent your home, written or verbal landlord consent is required.
- In-Person Pick-Up: Approved adopters must travel to our sanctuary in Hartville, Wyoming to meet and pick up their animal. (Guest yurt accommodations are available on-site!)
