As a volunteer, you'll need to be financially capable of providing a majority of your own food and covering travel expenses to and from the sanctuary. Please consider this commitment before applying.
**Work Hours:**
Prepare to dedicate a minimum of 32 hours per week, as our sanctuary operates year-round, and the animals rely on consistent care and attention.
**Weather Resilience:**
Kindness Ranch operates in all weather conditions, including winter. Volunteers must be prepared to embrace the elements while ensuring the animals' comfort and safety.
**What to Expect:**
Your contribution as a long-term volunteer at Kindness Ranch Animal Sanctuary will be invaluable. You'll have the opportunity to work closely with our dedicated staff, gaining hands-on experience in various aspects of sanctuary operations, including office work, housekeeping, and direct animal care. All of our long term volunteer positions will involve working in groups and alone with many of the same responsibilities of our regular staff positions. From assisting with administrative tasks to providing affection and care to our rescued animals, you'll play a crucial role in their rehabilitation and well-being.

This stipend is NOT a cash allowance but comes in the form of ordering produce and grains from our regular supplier and non perishable goods ordered from Amazon or other online retailers (pastas, canned goods, coffee, toiletries, etc.).
