Meet Ziggy’s New Family!

Erin Hoffman saw Ziggy at an adoption day at Petco in Fort Collins. It was love at first sight. Days later, she brought her daughters to meet Ziggy at the ranch. Ellery, as you can see from the photo above, took to Ziggy right away. They bonded over graham crackers. Ziggy was a perfect gentleman with the two children, and seemed to greatly enjoy being involved in all their activities. After a home check, Ziggy was formally adopted by Erin and her husband, Ted. Ziggy is in love with his new family.

Ziggy came to us from a university research facility. The trend in research is euthanasia. But the researchers involved in his care chose to break with precedent and release him to Kindness Ranch. We wish others would follow their lead to make more happy stories possible.
