Hounding it Up!
After a month at Kindness Ranch, five sweet former research dogs are adjusting to home life. Upon arrival, everything was new for them. People, nature walks, toys, the large dog yard, treats, and cuddles were greeted with interest and often some fear. But today, signs of joy and love are evident in their bright eyes and kisses.
Emily, Izzy, and Stella have integrated with other sanctuary dogs. They thrive on games of ball, chase, and their new found friends (especially ever playful Boots and Jake). TV time and cuddles on the couch go over very well. Emily loves to lie in the sun. Izzy is especially fond of toys. Stella is the best snuggler.

Emma and Zoey are still more reticent. We have them paired with Enrique, another loving and gentle former research dog that likes mellow friends. Zoey will wag her tail and sit by your side for cuddles and special treats. She is beginning to relax in her new home. With encouragement, Emma will relax on her soft bed while you pet her. Little by little, they are settling into their new lives.

We thank you for your support that makes these heartwarming transitions possible.
