Founder Donates His Home
When Dr. David Groobman founded the Kindness Ranch in rural Wyoming, he purchased enough land for the sanctuary and for an adjacent personal retreat. For his retreat, he built a second home for his family as well as two cabins for guests.
In September 2011, Dr. Groobman made a generous gift of his retreat to the Kindness Ranch. The additional land added to our pasturage for our horses plus added his vacation home — now called the Kindness Manor — and the two cabins for visitors to the sanctuary. For people looking to spend time at Kindness Ranch and wanting more living space than our one- and two-bedroom cabins afford, the Kindness Manor is just the thing.
