Six Year Resident Baretta Finds Fur-Ever Home

baretta It's a bittersweet day at Kindness Ranch, as we happily say goodbye to our longest-term resident - Baretta! Baretta came to us at 3 years old in 2008, and has since seen many cats (and staff) come and go, all the while maintaining her position as Queen of the Kitty Bunkhouse.

Now, after waiting for almost six years, Baretta will finally have a home all to herself, just the way she likes it! Her new mom, Janine, knew that Baretta was the one the moment she saw her picture! We wish them the best and are so thrilled that Baretta will finally have the life she deserves!

Todd and Oliver find fur-ever home together!

todd and oliver adoption It already feels like they've been a part of our family forever! We had neighborhood children here yesterday and today getting to know Todd and Oliver. One little friend even made them homemade treats! They seem to love the fenced yard.......running and playing. They crawled into their beds last night and snuggled right in. They have a gel base, so it makes it really comfortable for any sort of bone, joint pain. They almost completely ignore our nine kitties..... I've done this sort of integration many times and this time is by far the easiest. They aren't sleeping together (yet!), but they are getting along well. Thank you once again for making this adoption so painless and for helping us to adopt two of the sweetest and most loveable dogs EVER. We will do everything in our power to give them a happy life filled with love. Stephanie, Kindness Ranch, and all of it's residents are blessed to have you.

Boomer Enjoying his Fur-ever home

update boomer Hey everyone at Kindness Ranch! I wanted to give you all an update on Boomer! He's adjusted very quick over the past six months. He's quite the character! He loves to snuggle. Especially with his Daddy! Loves his new big backyard to play with his sister! His favorite time of the day has to be anytime that involves food! Lol. He did very well with our pcs move. Now we are all settled and he couldn't be sweeter! I thought I would give you all an update on him since he was very loved at the ranch! Hope to possibly adopt another beagle from you all in the future! Big beagle hugs your way!!

More Happy Tails

1620751 10202306078406518 2128721746 n Iberia turned 5 today! Iberia was part of the 16 dogs rescued the day after Thanksgiving in November 2011. After our family made a trip to Kindness Ranch, she came to our home in March 2012. Iberia has blossomed in the past year and is really a great family member! She is still fairly cautious but is becoming more and more outgoing!

Thanks for all the work you do to rescue these great animals!
